Where are the sound settings in the new plex player

with the new plex viewer for windows, can not find the audio settings. where be they??

If you mean the settings for audio passthrough, etc, like in TV Mode of PMP, they do not exist. If you need that level of control, then continue to use PMP. Latest version available via PMP announcement thread.

In case you didn’t see the announcement, PMP lives on for the foreseeable future.

was referring to AC3, DTS like in the Plex Media Player well hidden in the TV mode, under account….

Those are the sames settings to which I was referring. They do not exist in Plex for Windows / Plex for Mac.

OK, What is the purpose of Plex Player then?

To play content on your desktop; it is not meant to be an HTPC replacement.
