What fork are you guys using? The plexinc or baa one?
The Baa one is the main branch and e.g. had new bug fixes pushed out tonight.
Think of the PlexInc one as a fork that also has some bug fixes and some sweet UI ideas that will be merged back to the main branch (after fixing some bugs found in that). NB also be aware that it is not compatible with some earlier firmwares.
The main branch is the one where the underpinning architectural changes are taking place.
Feel free to play with both though, it will hopefully not be too long before they are merged and you will get all the goodies and bug fixes together.
Ok thanks
Killer feature. I’m setting it up tonight
I prefer the plexinc port because of the UI, and am looking forward to the merge
Both branches work great though, I have not had any problem in days.
Off topic, but I’m curious. How close are we to myPlex support, and music playback? No rush (obviously) but was curious if progress was being made. This is a my favorite plex client, and these features will make it even better!
It is mainly bug fixes and under the hood changes (the underpinnings) that are being worked on at the moment.
Critical stuff to move forward although less ‘sexy’.
MyPlex support should not be too long off and is high up the to do list.
Music section has not even been looked at yet.
Is the PlexInc branch still unmerged? I do not see it, just XML_templates branch.
Yes it is still unmerged but some big bug fixes went out in the main branch last night.
Excuse my ignorance but what does NB mean?
NB = Nota bene = "Note well."
