Which ports does PlexConnect and PMS use?

I'm trying to get PlexConnect to work while the PMS machine is connected to a VPN server. What are all the ports that are used by PlexConnect and PMS to communicate with each other?

Port 32400 = MyPlex

Port 80 = PlexConnect Webserver

Port 53 = PlexConnect DNS Server

Port 443 = SSL Port?

Ports 32410, 32413, 32414 = PMS discovery/PlexGDM

Are there others? And do I have to forward all these ports when running a VPN just to get PlexConnect to work on the AppleTV?

*Edit* Just noticed the grammatical error in the title.  :(

What is the exact setup? What is on the local LAN and what is at the other end of the tunnel?

Mac Mini (OS X 10.6.8 Server) running PMS and PlexConnect (standard setup) connected to an Airport Extreme over ethernet. AppleTV 2 connected via ethernet.

When the VPN client is running, PlexConnect reports that "No Plex Library Sections Available." I don't need remote access. I just want PlexConnect to communicate with the PMS over the local network. I'm not sure why the VPN client blocks local connections. It is set to send ALL traffic over the VPN connection, but I didn't think that meant traffic between my Mac Mini and Apple TV.

I do have a VPN client called Viscosity that allows for routing but I need to know what ports and IP addresses are being used by Plex.

You don’t need to route via the tunnel but it does confuse auto detection of the relevant IP addresses.

In settings.cfg disable GDM and hard code the PMS address.

You may also need to hard code the PlexConnect IP, let me know if this needs doing as well.

Thanks. I hard-coded the PMS address and it seems to be working, but PlexConnect and the Apple TV are very cranky about it. If I change the settings.cfg and then reboot the Apple TV, I usually end up with just two icons on the screen, Settings and Computers.

I tested a bunch of different configurations and all of them required a reboot of the computer running the PMS to get PlexConnect to play nice with the VPN.

Maybe if you can provide all of the info requested in the troubleshooting template (see sticky) we can see what can be improved.
