For those of you that use Mac, which SiliconDust HDHomeRun model do you use? I would like to connect to my cable tv for which I have no premium channels and via OTA and I am not sure which one will satisfy the above. Thanks.
there is no single hdhomerun tuner that does both cable and OTA
additionally, plex does not (at least currently) support mixed OTA and cable tuners/channels (ie only 1 tv guide).
so you must decide between OTA and cable tuner.
I have hdhr quattro for OTA and it works fine for me.
also, I believe plex tuner/dvr support requires plex pass, so that is another thing to remember.
