Which URL does Plex use to get my external IP address?

Server Version#: 1.19.3.2852
Player Version#: N/A

I’m using Plex Server on my NAS behind my home router.

I’ve setup some rule on router to determine whether the request should go through a proxy or not.

So, I need to know which url the Plex used to get my external ip address(e.g.: Synology use checkip.synology.com to do that), and add that url not to use the proxy, or otherwise the Plex will get the proxy ip instead of the router’s external ip.

Thanks!

If you allow *.plex.tv you should be good.
On my Pi-hole, I see several requests being made,

eg.
pubsub.plex.tv
metadata.provider.plex.tv
analytics.plex.tv

pubsub is plexpass and remote access
metadata is just as it states
analytics is how well the cloud is responding to you . It reports back problems.
