I’m running plex media server on my synology 918+. Unfortunately the server was physically located in a site which had unstable oversea internet connections which caused many troubles, especially features which may require oversea internet connections, such as media matching. So I have a manually route some of the traffic through a special proxy to get satisfatory results. All my other apps work fine except plex, since I couldn’t identify the URL for related services(i could not redirect all thraffic from plex since plex server would then recognize my proxy server IP but not the real IP which eventually killed my media streaming). Can the moderator kindly share some of them? Any help would be hugely appreciated. THX

There is no “Published List” of URLs.
Some are obvious based on support which has been given already here in the forums.

Will it be possible to just have the URL used to determin the server IP address so I can by-pass this URL specifically and let everthing else flows through the proxy?
thank you for your help. I’ll go through that and see if it works for me. Otherwise I may have to go the hard way which means log all connections and filter them manually.
There are many proxy threads in the forums. I recommend reading there. An improperly configured proxy is obviously dangerous so I stay away from them given the data I have here.
