Not quite. Let me back up a bit. There is another Plex feature that may be in play called Watch State Sync, https://support.plex.tv/articles/sync-watch-state-and-ratings/. This tracks what you’ve watched. We don’t track the progress, only when something is done. So lets say you watched episode 4 of a show. If Plex has that show, we will offer episode 5 on the Continue Watching hub (with my previous comments in mind). So you may think this Episode 5 you see is from your server, but it may not be. The order these show up in Continue watching is based on when and where you watched the previous episode, so if it’s been a little while since you watched the previous episode, the one from your server may be further down the list, while the one from Plex may be earlier. Or like I said earlier, you may be seeing only the one from Plex.
