I noticed randomly that some individual episodes are being re-added and then show under recently added. Any thoughts or a way to remove recently added items
no way to remove them from RA unless you edit database directly i suppose ( not an expert at that myself ). if it thinks they are new files then it will be there. question is why does it think they are new files. Are these on a network drive that might be getting disconnected on sleep or something like that?

Here’s a question for you. If plex found the episode and added it BUT was not able to retrieve the air date or other important information metadata then say a few days later through schedule maintenance or something the metadata was downloaded successfully. Would Plex see it as a new episode?
if it knew it was a file that belonged to a particular show but no new metadata it should show up in RA but the episode would be just named like “Episode 12” with no other info. when it got new metadata that should not change since date added was still the same.
it might show up on On Deck, if still unwatched when the episode data came in, since On Deck is partially based on air date which it gets in metadata
K now its happening all the time and I have no clue as to why. I added these series a while ago
but its now just randomly picking episodes?
Maybe some program is changing the created/modified/accessed times on your files causing Plex to think you are adding new files…
Honestly I don’t know how Plex handles file attributes.
