Totally agree! I’m flabbergasted that repeat isn’t available on a player in 2020.

My 8 week old daughter is calmed down by white noise tracks during night and unfortunatly her favorite is around 1 hour so we need to que it up with “Play next” many many times. Somewhat annoying when I cant figure out a way to make a playlist with the same track several times.
On the list, we’ve started looking into it.

Another +1 for repeat and shuffle buttons on the player. Would be totally fine to have them as an opt-in in settings, but I listen to the same song for hours and would appreciate a way of doing so conveniently in Plexamp.

Incredible. Finally got pushed out of GPM a couple days ago - their demand that we transition to YTM is just abhorrent - and figured I’d give Plexamp a spin before looking further, since I’ve had Plex up and running for so many years.
Like so many others, I was floored that there was no repeat option. Baffled. Just about uninstalled it when I found forum posts going back two years about this same problem. I put up with the cumbersome playlist system, went through the headache of porting over my preferences, and made peace with your stance on not wanting Plexamp to be able to serve local media. But hamstringing basic media playback functionality, in an app limited to basic media playback? That’s a bridge too far.
This picture is the only reason it’s still on my phone. Cause for celebration and cheering, parades in the streets (or, perhaps, a socially distant walk in the park?) Real excited to see this update pushed live.

i assure you it’s not fake. repeat mode is coming. just like winter, but with less dire wolves.

Like I said before, I admire the sheer austerity of Plexamp design. The lack of a repeat mode is part of the charm, and a healthy one. But it doesn’t jive with all the other modern niceties in the app. So overall I support the decision to add repeat mode.
Hey, we did manage to hold out for a couple years.
Will the repeat function be able to toggle? As in, you can toggle whether it appears as an option or not?
Personally, I don’t have any use for a repeat mode and I don’t like the way it puts the UI out of ‘balance’. But that’s probably just my OCD 
eventually we’ll balance it with something else, promise
