So the shows have been there for literally years. This was never a problem. It just started happening
I did find something called “The Plex Dance” which seems to talk to this problem.

50 folders are no problem. As an Unraid user I feed all individual drives of one Supermicro SC846 plus two SC846 expansion boxes into Plex - giving a total of 60 entries for each library. Using individual drives of Unraid - instead of user shares - has that positive effect that there’s no need to wake up sleeping drives.

Hallo, I have the same problems. My Plex is running on a Synology Nas server and 1 month ago it stopped with showing the recently added music. Every weekend I put new files on my Nas. Very disappointing.
I too am having issues. My recently added TV shows update fine in the TV shows menu, but on the home screen it doesn’t update immediately anymore. I have to close plex and reopen it for the recently added TV shows to refresh.

Same problem here on my Synology NAS, I don’t see any errors in the logs, this just started happening this fall.
I’ve updated the the most recent update a couple times over the past few months hoping for a fix. Has anyone else had thus resolved?
I also have this issue. Recently added movies update almost instantly but not tv shows. Is this still being investigated?
