I found my way onto watch.plex.tv this evening and found that I can just search here instead of using thetvdb. It looks like Plex is pulling from thetvdb and other resources which is nice. Why isn’t this implemented into PMS and available to utilize?- at least for PlexPass subscribers. This would be amazing to have future episodes listed in the show libraries
A ninja can confirm but that’s the database that the new scanners use in Plex Media Server.
The critical part of that statement is
The new agents like Plex Movie (non-legacy) and Plex TV Seriesshould be using the same data as displayed on watch.plex.tv — that being said, your library preferences like episode ordering or language will certainly impact what you see and cause some deviations to watch.plex.tv (given that can only display one configuration).
I would love to see the actor/director info from the Plex site get pulled in.
