Why is plex stopping support direct reproduction of videos that I was able to play yesterday before the last update?

You’ll need to be a bit more specific.
e.g. (but not limited to…):

  • what media are you trying to play?
  • what version of PMS do you run and on what platform (“latest” isn’t particularly specific; I just recently ran into another user who thought version 1.14.1 was the latest version)?
  • is this about local or remote playback?
