Show that is scheduled to be recorded not showing up on the DVR Schedule

Chicago PD is set to record new episodes. In the Guide the show is scheduled to record the show at 9PM CT on 807, when I go into the DVR Schedule the showing is missing.

I have seen this behavior too. On the CW OTA guide from zip code 60544, tried to schedule Supergirl to record, adds it fine to the DVR schedule if you select “This episode”, but if you try and add it as “All episdodes” either “New Only” or “New and Repeated Airings” it doesn’t add them to the DVR schedule. Please advise. I’ve repeated this behavior several times.

I’m facing the same issue, I scheduled the recording of “La Maison Lumni” (a show on a public channel that provides school lessons for kids during the Covid-19 confinment situation), but only the first episode was recorded.
Others are not even showing up in the DVR schedule.

This really sucks :frowning:

PS: Of course, I did use the option to record “New and Repeated Airings”… So I really don’t understand why it is failing…

If a file exists with the season and episode number in the guide it will not schedule a recording. If you check the filename and suspect that it was mislabeled

  • Move it out of the Plex directory to a unscanned location
  • Rename the file to the right episode
  • Scan the TV directory
  • Move the file back
  • Scan the TV directory
