Some of my tv shows are not being found by Plex Media Server and I cannot figure out why. I have read this support article and checked all the things it says could be causing this issue but still cannot get Plex to detect this one season of this one show. It detects other episodes/seasons of the same show though.
What else could I try?
Are the files .mp4 or .mob?
Please give a specific example of the filename for one of those files.

Ok I will try that again, can you help me understand the naming differences between those two files? That would cause one to be found but not the other
It’s not the differences between the files; they’re all named incorrectly. If plex finds some of them, that’s just luck. Plex is pretty good with matching the wrong stuff, but if it doesn’t, the only solution is to use the correct naming.
You should of course rename everything so that it follows the naming convention, otherwise you’ll just run into the same problems with other shows/episodes in the future.
I recommend using filebot for the renaming. It’s not that difficult to use (you gotta set up the naming scheme correctly, but after that it’s just drag and drop), and it has been able to handle 99.9% of what I’ve thrown at it without a problem.
