Why does Plex offer a banner tab when it is useless In the plex server ?
What banner are you talking about and how is it useless?
I guess the OP may be talking about the option to add a banner when you edit a TV show.
It appears banners were more widely supported in the past. I suppose there might still be some older apps out there which support them – therefore the option to add/change banners is still available in the server.
The main apps have changed their UI over the years and no longer use banners.
