I have started to back up YouTube videos and the thumbnails I embed using ffmpeg are very wide and show up as tall, vertical cards. Is there a setting to have it show as a wide thumbnail? I use Roku Plex and Plex Web. If this isn’t a feature I can post this in feature requests. Included picture related.
It’s been that way for years, there’s no way to fix it, and it’s wrong, simply wrong to think Portrait images are going to work in a library of unmatchable items where a landscape screengrab is likely going to be the ONLY image these items ever see.
The Plex App on Roku is the ONLY Plex App that gets it right.

I hope they plan on changing the layout. It’s something I really want to see. I may submit a feature request.
