Wifi Channel 13 support?

Hi guys,

Does 1.8.0 support channel 13 yet and if not is there a way to get it working?

Channel 13 is prohibited in some countries, so the wifi world code is enabled by default.

This is untested, but SSH in and try these commands:

mount /flash -o remount,rw
echo "options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom=DE" > /etc/modprobe.d/cfg80211.conf
reboot

Replace ‘DE’ with your 2 character country code in the second line and see if that works for you.

Thanks man, worked like a charm. The n00b in me assumed that the country code would have been tied to the location setting within the settings app itself. I guess it wasn’t :smiley:
