Will it be possible to sync content ?

Hi !

 

Does the possibility of sync content (downloaded on the SD card or on aUSB disk) is scheduled for Rasplex (In case of no Internet connexion for example) ?

Not scheduled at the moment.

No, RasPlex is basically a PHT Build, and that doesn't support syncs

I wish I found this post a few weeks ago :(.  It would be awesome if it supported sync.  I got a Pi to use in the van for my kids to have access to our library.  I was planning on syncing plex with the things they wanted for the road and it would just be available (without using a phone as a hot spot)

Sync is only supported for mobile platforms, which the RPi isn't. There is a topic asking for this to be added to Plex HT (which is basically what Rasplex is) over at https://forums.plex.tv/topic/71268-very-popular-plex-sync-for-desktop-clients/

Plex Inc normally look at the number of 'Likes' that a feature request has to decide whether to consider providing the feature.

If Sync is ever supported in Plex HT it will find its way into Rasplex.
