Let Filebot name and structure them - then show us what it did - like I did…
Then Fix Match (at the Show Level) when Plex can’t find the right one.
Easy…lol
BTW:
Just now - not 10 seconds ago - Filebot fixed this show, again, after TVDB decided to re-arrange the episodes since the last time TVDB re-arranged the episodes. I had already Fixed Match some time ago - so this time ‘Refresh Metadata’ just repaired the Season placements - all the ones I have are now in Specials since I’ve been waiting for Season 1 for several decades now…I’m ready tho… lol
Plex will not recognized files if named that way (e.g. V - Special # or V - #x##).
Based on the naming schema used by Plex, the folder structure / file names should look like this:
TV Shows
V (1984)
Specials <- alternatively you can call this "Season 00"
V (1984) - s00e01 - The Original Miniseries.mkv
V (1984) - s00e03 - The Final Battle.mkv
Season 01
V (1984) - s01e01 - Liberation Day.mkv
V (1984) - s01e02 - Dreadnought.mkv
...
You can use {Plex} or look at the available Formats and pick the correct one:
‘Out of the Box’ FB doesn’t use “S01E01”, but that’s easy enough to change.
FB can do a whole lot of other ‘Plex Friendly’ things as well, with the proper commands:
^That^ creates a Movie and it’s Folder, Like this:
