Plex won’t ever be in the Mac App Store, unfortunately. Not unless Apple significantly change the approval guidelines outlined here, many of which Plex violates in order to provide certain features.
Just wait for the responses that hit you with this violation:
oh well. Plex auto updates anyways, so no biggie imo
