Will Plex for ATV ever be able to play 4K remuxes without stutters?

I have a library of 4K UHD discs I have backed up. I direct play only from my PMS server. This MKV consist of DD AC-3 5.1 audio, HEVC video and no subtitles. The files always show direct play in PMS and tautulli however I always get random micro stutters throughout playback on all 4 of my ATV4Ks. This does NOT happen with my Plex app on my 2019 nvidia shield pro (2019) sitting directly next to my ATV4K. I also have been testing the infuse app on tvOS and playback is buttery smooth. What is wrong with the plex for tvOS?
