Will the mere presence of .ISO files in my Movies folder cause PMS problems

New to Plex.

  1. I do not want to attempt to play .ISO files with PMS.

  2. I only want to store my .ISO files in the same folder as each of my movies (that I’ve already transcoded to .MKV). This is just for my own file organization: one movie, all related files in one folder.

  3. All of this storage is on a new QNAP RAID device, and PMS will be installed on this device.

Will the presence of .ISO files in my Movie folders cause problems? Should I keep them in another directory, far away from the Plex media?

Thanks for any help. I searched and could not find an answer to this particular question.

Plex should “gracefully” ignore your iso files.

.ISO files are not supported by Plex, so it should ignore them completely.
