Windows 10 Notifications appearing over Plex Media Player

Hello all

I recently setup my first HTPC running Windows 10 Home with Plex Server and Plex Media Player.

Since this is my first time setting up an HTPC I am coming across some things I do not know how to prevent.

For example, when using Plex Media Player I occasionally get Windows 10 Notifications from Windows Defender.

I have Disabled App Notifications in the Settings however I am still getting them from Defender.

How do I stop Notifications appearing on top of Plex Media Player?

Thanks in advance

Kevin

@trumpy81 why don’t you suggest to enable “always on top” in the settings/main menu of PMP?
Isn’t that the setting which should do the trick?

Right click action centre, enable quiet hours. That ensures you won’t get any notifications.

Hello

Thanks for the replies.

I guess I should have provided more detail in my original Post, sorry.

I am using a Genuine Copy of Windows 10 Home x64 which was purchased along with all the components to build this system.

Also the System was a complete Clean Install.

The Notification I am getting from Defender is the ‘Recent Windows Defender Summary’ stating that a Recent Scan has found no issues, no Malware etc.

I think I may of solved this issue now as I found the setting to Disable Enhanced Notifications, I will see how it goes.

I have also Enabled Quiet Hours, thanks for that suggestion.

Also, ‘Always on Top’ is Enabled however it does not seem to always work.

Thanks in advance

Kevin
