Windows 10 Plex Client App not maximizing to window size

Player Version#: 1.930.1.144-9b2f4a13

uninstalling and reinstalling fixes this problem every time, but that would be quite cumbersome in the long run. Not quite sure what’s going on here, but every time I close and reopen the app after reinstalling it opens fine, but it isn’t maximized to the screen even though the window itself is maximized. the mouse also doesn’t highlight the options I want to click on, but it’s “off” by the same amount that the window is lacking in size. If I manage to get a move or any other media going, the playback is fine, but the player as well as the rest of the app has sizing issues.

The user interface of Plex HTPC is fixed to 16:9 aspect ratio, as it’s primarily built for “big screen” client devices.

If you actually mean the “Plex for Desktop” client, is it possible that you have two screens on your computer, which each a different “text scaling” factor?

yes, im using the plex client for desktop, apologies if that wasn’t clear.

both of my monitors are identical and are widescreen, so I’m not sure that’s an issue.

if that was the issue uninstalling and reinstalling wouldn’t fix the issue I would imagine
