Running Plex version 1.15.6.1079. Must have automatically updated and out of nowhere none of my 5 devices (Apple TVs, iPhones etc.) are able to reach the server (running on windows 10). All of them say “OFFLINE.” I am trying to reach the server within my local network! This is the second day Plex has been down. I’ve been using it for over a year now with not a single issue until now. Please advise!
First off, make sure PMS is running. Check for the icon in the system tray and move the cursor over it. Sometimes PMS will crash but the icon will still be visible until you scroll over it then it goes away. Next make sure you can access it using the local Plex Web. If you can’t access it from Web then something is wrong. If you can’t access, check the server logs manually. See if it is updating with the current time. Lastly check the windows registry and make sure it shows your Plex account info in there.
