I am on windows 10 also the plex server. My friend on windows 7 .can she
access the server directly without client and play the files if so how ?

Plex clients for Windows machines

  • Plex Web Client app (https://plex.tv/web) - browser client app available free
  • Plex Media Player : currently in preview stage for Plex Pass subscriber
  • and for windows 10 machines: Plex for Windows App
    There is also the discontinued Plex Home Theater and third party version of it Open PHT
