Windows 8 & Plugins using Webkit

I just bought the Plex Windows 8 app and am messing around with it. Does this app support webkit video plugins using Flash or Silverlight? So far i'm not having much luck getting anything working. Then again, i had a hell of a time even getting the app connected to my local PMS. Just trying to figure out if i should expect these plugins to work. 

 

Also, how reliant is the Windows 8 app on URL services? I'm noticing some errors when it comes to metadata that I am not generating in the url service but am in my plugin code. Is this app completely reliant on URL services for its metadata? Or can it be drive strictly by plugin code?

You might get more results asking about this in the windows PMS forum.  I don't know if any of the channel devs that hang here use win8 at all ... I have a VM with it for testing web stuff I develop, but that's about as much as I've used it to date...
