I love UNO and its a vast improvement to the Shield.
The UX (Pre-play screens, huge on-screen navigation controls, VP Thumbs experience, lack of navigation bar etc…) I still hate.
I’m pretty much ok with using it as a Chromcast for now and I have read the pre-play screen are being looked into across most/all clients, so I will see where that takes us.

just tried plex + roku ultra connected via ethernet, it chokes on a lot of my 4k hdr rips and demo clips, no doubt due to its lack of gigabit ethernet which is a big complaint among many owners / users - plex + shield plays most of these files fine.
So even the Roku 4K doesn’t have gigabit Ethernet?
nope, which unfortunately i didn’t discover until the return window closed, ha ha…
It was never envisaged as a player for “remuxed UHD rips”.
It’ll handle a “Netflix 4K” just fine with its 100 Mbps port.
Using these slower ports is not only a question of cost but also of power consumption and therefore of heat-dissipation as well. Which then also has an influence on what case designs are possible or not.
