Long time since I posted as nothing really seems to happen that users (not Plex) wants.
Just moved to a new laptop and forgot just what a pain it is to NOT have download media at “C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Plex\Plex Media Server\Sync”. I don’t want it there !!! Symbolic links are a PITA but still seem to be the only way to address this fundamental & simple request from many, many users.
Oh and now (well for a while) you can’t access your downloads with a VPN running. I’m going to guess that 50% + users here run a VPN and have had to cripple themselves (i.e. run in browser, not system) for this basic functionality.
