Yesterday (2021-01-09) I signed up for Plex and immediately purchased Plex Pass. I then installed the Plex Media Server on my Synology NAS and installed the Plex for Windows application on my computer.
I then updated Plex Media Server as recommended when opening the server application, and followed the instructions on the “Download Media” and “Download for Offline Access” support pages (making sure I was logged in at both places).
I am able to stream successfully, however, when I right click on the item’s context menu, there is no “Download” link in either the Windows player or the Plex Media Server instance (only: Watch Together…, Play Next, Add to Queue, Add to Watchlist, and Mark as Played).
Please let me know if any further information is needed, any help would be greatly appreciated.
