Windows with different users need different plex server installs?

Server Version#: latest
Player Version#: latest for xbox

Let me share my scenario…
My pc is Windows 11. It had 1 user only, the admin user (Microsoft account).

I installed plex server from Microsoft Store, configured it, added my libraries and was able access my current from my Xbox.

So I decided to make things easier to me. I decided to implement auto logon on my windows. I created a second account, a local account.

I logged on with this new user and couldn’t find the plex server. So I downloaded the plex server from plex website, installed, set it up and I logged into my plex account. The plex server under this local user account can’t detect my content and can’t be detected.

My question is:

As plex is running under Admin perfectly, is there a way to logon in windows with my second user and have the plex server app and running? Maybe installing it as a windows server and associate it to a system account?

Or

How to install and configure the plex server under my local account without having to add all my libraries again?

Regards

Paulo

There’s a rather extensive thread in the tips & tricks section discussing how to run Plex Media Server as a service on Windows.
