Hi have Ubuntu Linux running Hauppauge WinTV-QuadHD which has 4 tuners. Plex recognizes this as 2 separate devices, with 2 tuners each, instead of 1 device with 4 tuners. This doesn’t seem to be right. I can only watch 2 live TV shows at the same time. How can I get it to recognize all 4 tuners as one device?

That’s correct. That’s just the way Hauppauge implemented the Linux driver and it is also discussed in the Plex support documents [1]. Just add both devices separately in the server DVR settings and you should be able to watch at least 4 parallel streams.
Also make sure to follow the setup instructions in the official Hauppauge Linux guide [2].

I have the same tuner and same problem (only 2 of 4 recognized) but on a Windows 10 system. Can you advise?
