I’m struggling to get the four tuners of the QuadHD working simultaneously, As I understand it the Quad is two dual tuner chipsets and this is reflected in Plex by having to add the two pairs separately, however each pair is represented in Plex as 4 tuners, when I try to tune a third channel the first tuner in Plex tries to take the load and fails, what I would expect is it to hand off to the second pair but this doesn’t transpire.
Shouldn’t Plex be considering each as two tuners? Seems like the case should be to alter the configuration to change it from 4 to 2 in the gubbins of Plex?
Interesting. My Quad has so far been able to record 3 things at once without a problem. I’ve just checked it now - it’s recording two things and has split them between the two dual tuners
At 9.55pm today it will be recording 4 things at once so I’ll have a look then and see what it says.
Hi, Live TV/DVR dev here. Can you post a log with the 1662XX? I specifically need the Plex Tuner Service log since it should show me information about how it’s combining the tuners, but all of the logs would be best. Thanks!
