Ok, I want to get Plex Premium for the ability of making mixes. I have over 30k CD’s I have purchased over many years because I can’t decide what my fav style of music is and burnt it all to my server and stored the boxes of cd’s. So I have all this wonderful music… now besides using it at home on my ipad’s, nvidia shield, phones…ect. I would love to buy the premium if the mix feature enables you to copy the mix plex creates and move it to a USB drive for offline playing. I hate the radio, to much talkin’ not enough rockin’… Please help! I can’t find an answer anywhere, even something stating it doesn’t do it.

You can sync content with a Plex Pass, but you can’t copy it to a USB drive for use on another device. Sync is limited to mobile devices, and the synced content is copied to a protected area that you can’t access with anything other than the Plex app.

Ok so I can mobile sync the Mix of how ever many songs I want and dump them onto my Samsung phone up to about 64 gig’s worth cause that’s how big a chip i put on my phone and then play from there without using my Verizon data. Sorry for being a rookie, just making sure I am not missing anything

I don’t have a fancy setup like you, Running a Synology with two drives mirrored. And my “server” is actually a windows 10 box that I am also running an Empyrion server and soon some other stuff for fun. But It’s worked great so far, awesome to be able to access my Synology files from anywhere, haven’t tried plex yet.

If you are talking about the actual “Plex Mix”, these are actually limited lists based on the starting song, but yes, from Plex Web select play Plex Mix from a song. This will start playing. On the very bottom right, there is an icon that will bring up the list of songs that have been queued up. At the top right of this list, there is an icon to create a playlist. You can then Sync this playlist to your mobile device using Mobile Sync.
