Without Internet no connection possible due to plex home?

Server Version#: 1.32.6.7371
Player Version#: 9.30.0

Hello Plex community
My local setup is very simple. LAN with Synology NAS Plex Server and Android TV Plex Player, unfortunately at some point I enabled Plex Home to filter the content for the kids which I understand leads to this offline access issue.
Since I have some free time over the next few days, I wanted to fix (if fixable) the issue of my family not being able to access my Plex server in case the internet connection goes down. DLNA fallback works but not as convenient as Plex, especially for my family when I travel.
Is there a way to get Plex to work without an internet connection while Plex Home is activated? If not, is it possible to completely disable Plex Home user management?
I’ve already added my network and subnet in the plex server setting to the network setting that doesn’t require authentication, but that didn’t change anything :frowning:
Edit: In the android tv plex player app the setting “unsafe connection” is set to always

I hope there is a way to fix it, otherwise I will reinstall plex to the NAS. Is there anything special to consider or can I just uninstall and reinstall it via the package manager? DMS 7 is installed.

thank you

Every time the fast user switcher comes up it essentially logs the last user out. Need internet to log back in. you can set to auto log in so it never really logs the last user out unless you intentionally bring up user picker. So be aware you will not be able to switch users while no internet.

You need to remove each user from the home by clicking on the X on the far right of their row in the Home when hovering over them. Be aware removing a Managed Account will delete the account.
