I am confused about why the Xbox One player doesn’t support Direct Play of Microsoft’s own WMA Lossless format. This forces my CPU to work harder than it should have to, and causes unnecessary delays in playback.
I know WMA isn’t listed in the supported formats page for the Xbox one, so pointing me to the ‘it’s broken by design’ page doesn’t enlighten me.
What I want to know is: is anyone at Plex following up on this, and is there any sort of status update?
Maybe I’m an odd user, but my number one use for Plex is to send lossless audio to my Xbox, so this is a very important feature to me.
