Is it possible to do WOL over Wifi on the Pi2?
I want to be able to wake up a NAS server when the Rasplex boots. I’ve seen a few people mention about WOL but nothing about over Wifi. AFAIK usually wifi and WOL does not work on the likes of a PC. But does anyone know if this is working on the Pi2?

Wake on Lan is an ethernet networking standard, so presumably, no.

It depends. The Asus motherboard in my pc has a qualcomm atheros ar946x wireless network adapter which does WOL over Wifi as that was one of my requirements when I put this machine together.
Suggest asking over on the raspberrypi.org forum, if it does, and I’m sure it doesn’t, then someone may have a script to enable this.
