I got a fantastic deal at Costco, ($349) but I would like for it to serve the Plex server purpose as well as daily use. No gaming involved.

What format is your video content in? (Encoding, not “filetype”)
What players will you be using for playback? (Roku? Nvidia Shield? etc)
How many simultaneous streams? 1? 5?

It all comes down to if your content will have to be transcoded or now and if so, for how many players at the same time…
