I‘m struggling with this: Plex iOS app is unable to play the correct (i.e. default) audio track when Direct Play is enabled and actually invoked. All my other platforms (tvOS, iPadOS) handle it fine. On iOS, when I switch off the use of recommended home streaming settings or reduce the stream quality as low as 480p/1.5Mbps it also works. I‘m using the latest iOS app on an iPhone 14 and the latest Plex Server on an M2 MacMini and a 1Gbit/s fibre setup.
Any ideas what goes south here?
