I found several movies in my collection with an incorrect IMDb rating, and these are movies that I recently added, so there’s no “it’s just outdated” excuse. The most notable one I could find is the movie Whistle, from 2025, that has a 5.8 rating on IMDb, but it shows a 7.5 rating on my server. I also found several movies with a RottenTomatoes rating, when I have my Library configured to use IMDb.
I tried refreshing the metadata for those specific movies, and for the whole library, I tried deleting the identification and identifying it again, and I also tried removing the movie from the folder, refreshing the Library, emptying the “trashcan”, copying the movie again in the folder and identifying it again, but nothing works, the wrong rating, and/or the wrong rating source appear again.
