I'm admittedly new to PMS, but I've been in IT for quite a while. I currently have 2 Xbox 360 units both hardwired via CAT5 cabling to a Gb router. I've added several video channels and am testing out Plex Media Server as my media source for cutting the cord. Unfortunately, I am having a consistent error with video playback. The xbox will play some videos for a short time (less than 30 seconds) and then error out with "Unplayable Content..Status code: 69-C00D002F"
When it is playing, the video looks great and the audio seems fine. I've consistently had this problem on each xbox. I've tried two different systems running the Plex Media Server (one a Windows 7 desktop and the other a MacBook Pro--version 0.9.11.7.803-87d0708). Both servers yield the same behavior to both xbox units.
The main channel I'm testing with and consistently failing with is Apple Movie Trailers (others fail as well). I've been trying the "The Peanuts Movie" trailer and it consistently fails (as do others).
We watched an HGTV show the other day and it stopped with this same error about 10 minutes or so into the show--very frustrating.
Any ideas? What is the best way to troubleshoot this issue? [BTW, I did use Forum search and Google and couldn't find anything that seemed to work to improve my situation].
I really like what PMS seems to offer, but the promise of using it with an Xbox 360 isn't working out so well right now.
I appreciate any assistance that you can provide.
