Please Please Help!!!

I have been using Plex for Xbox one since February and haven’t really had any issues. All of a sudden about two months ago my it stopped working. It still works on my smart phones, tablets, and Roku. I have tried everything to fix it. Hard, reset, deleted authentication, using hardwire instead of wireless, deleting Plex App and reinstalling it. I even deleted Plex on my server but nothing seems to work. I just keep getting the cannot connect to server message.

Please help, I love Plex and generally use it everyday.

Is your server connected to the plex.tv servers? Go to Settings -> Server -> Remote Access

It should say “Fully Available Outside Your Network”. and have a green check mark. This is required for the Xbox app to find the server.

Plex works on all of my other devices some thing is wrong with Xbox One

This is going to be a stupid question - but what happens if you hit ‘retry’?

You say you’ve ‘deleted authentication’ - was this at plex.tv? Did you (correctly) get shown the PIN screen after doing that?

Could you please enable logging in the XB1 app settings and upload some PMS logs?

If I hit reply I get the same “Error, Unexpected Error, An unexpected error occurred. Please check your device is connected to your network and try again” message.

When I said I deleted my ‘authentication,’ I meant from my account page in the Single Sign-On Authentications section.

I guess there was a problem with one of my library drives, once I removed it the issue went away.
