Anyone know how a user will login the xbox one?
I don't believe the Xbox One app supports user switching at this time.
Lets say I create a Plex account for my kids, I add them to my Home users. Now they can login to an App and use it using the library filters right?
So Than we can use the pin connect to the plex home accounts so that when they launch Plex they get only their libraries?
If this has been implemented properly that would be awesome.
I really hope they did.
But I tried to get it to work, created a plex account, added it to my Home. I can now login in my sons windows app using his new plex account.
But then it says there are no servers :(.
Not sure why.
I probably have to upgrade to the Plex pass release of the server? I will try that when I get home.
It has more to do of which Plex client you are using. If I’m right it’s only the web now called Plex home, PHT and the Roku
The statement says that plex home members will inherit the plex pass. If that would be working than binding my kids and wife Xbox account to a Plax home user would solve the Xbox user issue and allow parental control.
Sure switching is still a wanted option, but this would be an amazing start.
Well this sucks!! I bought a lifetime plex pass to use it on the XB1 hoping to have the Plex Home functions on the XB1. Doesn't say on the web site that it doesn't work on the XB1 yet or even if they are working on it at all!! I don't want my kid seeing particular movie types in the library at all let alone stop him from watching them.
Very disappointed this isn't pointed out anywhere and that you have to go to a forum looking for answers only to find out it doesn't do it. Feeling a bit ripped off right now....

I have 2 kids accounts on Xbox One and have created user accounts on plex home but cant get them to login I can only login using my full account
the main reason i paid for the plex pass but so far no joy
