Xbox one controller turns off.

So I’ve updated to latest versions and problems came along. I usually watch movies with my headset connected to my controller and it used to work without ever turning off while the movie was playing. Now, after updating the controller turns off after a couple of minutes, just as if I’m watching nothing and being inactive.
I hope you can help me with that and is there any way to change these settings?

This is a question for the Microsoft forums and not for PLEX

Maybe they changed something in the system update a week ago but actually it has always been the way that the controller turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity.

This is not entirely true. This setting is app-specific. For example, Plex used to not turn the controller off while a movie was playing and now it does. The Microsoft Movies & TV app also does not turn the controller off during playback.

Basically what I’m saying is the new app sucks in multiple ways.

OK, I did not know that an app than “override” the auto turn-off

The only workaround I found is turning off dolby atmos for headphones in the settings. When I change it to Sonic, the controller will stay on for the duration of the video.

Thanks Man, I was about to smash my controller against the wall

This will be fixed in the next update, sorry about the inconvenience!
