Hello, for a few days when I run a movie via plex on my xbox one, my wireless controller connected to a headset turns off automatically after 15 min, while before it was always on, when I watch TV or when I play I never have this problem, can be a problem of update or setting? Thank you for your help.
Same thing happened to me last night. The first time the controller with headset attached shut off coincided with a “buffering”, so had assumed that was the cause. But then it happened again later. I didn’t really note the time between the two shutdowns, but it was longer than 15 minutes. However, at some stage between the two I bumped the analog stick causing the movie to seek and had to rewind slightly, which may have reset the “controller sleep timer” (don’t know what else to call it).
Haven’t been using the headset with Plex recently, so don’t know if this issue has been a round a little longer. Not experieincing any issues using the controller and headset with Netflix.
This is a new issue. I’ve been using plex with my headphones connected through my controller for years with no issue.
Only since the last updates has this started happening. I exclusively use headphones so this is a huge inconvenience for me. I along with other users have posted this problem but no official response from anyone.
I guess we just have to remember to press a button on our controllers every 15 minutes.
And that is strange because when i use VLC i have the same issue ??
