hi i getting tired of re linking my account is this because im using free service and not the full blown plex pass??? i have to twice a day re link my account to xbox one console… driving me mad
if i gotta pay for it to stop this how much does it cost to resolve this issue
No its not a plex pass thing. If you are having that many issues w/ logging in and it not keeping, I would sign out, uninstall the app, re-download and then sign in again.
Try that first.
ah ok ill try that … will that loose all my shows i already watched… and recently watched or will it uninstall that too or will it keep it
i tried this twice still constantly unlinks my i gotta re add my account on xbox one so i even tried a xbox reset and reinstall plex doesnt help

I’ll bump this - I’ve got the same problem. I have not tried re-installing the app, but it looks like that didn’t help the OP. I don’t have to do it QUITE that frequently, but I usually need to re-link once a day. Note that I have a number of other devices (Fire Stick, appleTV, iPhones, Mac App) that do not have this issue, so I can only assume that it is unique to the Xbox One somehow.
For reference I am running an Xbox One S. It’s connected to the network via ethernet and is on the same network as the Plex server. I have the power mode set to “Quick Resume”, so it only sleeps rather than a full power down.
I’d get you the firmware version and software version, but the unit is in use at the moment. If it is needed, I can follow up with that information.
ya I finding it hit and miss now it doesn’t unlink everyday like 3 -6 times in one day… I have had it… but now its doing once in a blue moon… so not as bad… and if I have no internet its a pain as I cant use the plex offline I noticed ):
