Hello!
My Xbox application keeps frequently unlink my account. It’s getting very annoying, I have to link my account almost every time I restart the application. It’s usually happens when the app abruptly closes for example when I start streaming youtube from my phone or power outage etc.
Is there anyone else experiencing these issues or it’s just me?

Literally every time I power down my xbox and restart it, I’m forced to re-link. It’s quite annoying; it should PERM link until unlinked either from the server side or from the app itself; it shouldn’t de-link everyday.

So this happens for me, on average, twice a day. My wife encounters it first, and she uses it throughout the day (it remains on and logged in the entire time); when she logs off, I hop on 20 minutes later (on her profile) and it’s already requiring me to link, again.
Is there anything we can do to stop it from unlinking constantly?

I’ve been having this problem with the Xbox One app for a couple of years now, lately at least once a week. Somehow HBO Go, Hulu, and dozens of other apps and games retain all my settings, but Plex has to be re-linked and reconfigured constantly.
A wipe and re-install of the Plex app should fix the issue.
Plex Tech Support gave me these recommendations (so far, so good):
- Uninstall the Plex app
- Power down the console
- Physically unplug the console power for 5 minutes (which allows the charge to dissipate and cache to clear)
- Power up the console
- Install the Plex app fresh from the store
