I have a new Xbox one S and have it connected to my Samsung 75 4K TV. Plex gives me an error when I try and play my Phantom drone 4K movies, both MOV and MP4 format. 1080P works fine. But, Plex installed on the Samsung TV plays them fine. So, it seems the decoder for 4K in the Xbox has issues? Anyone else have this issue?
UHD H.264 8-bit doesn’t work currently (@Moussa is in the process of acquiring from Microsoft whether this is a decoder limitation), but UHD H.265 8-bit and 10-bit works just fine.

you can use FFMPEG to convert them to x265 pretty easily. if you need help, just make a comment and I’ll do my best
oh, get the static build for x265… otherwise it’s not compiled into the build.
