XBox One Streaming Issues

Recently I’ve been having an issue with “buffering” so to speak. Audio and video will get out of whack, it takes up to 10 seconds for videos to start sometimes, I can browse my library but when I press play I’ll get the “Unexpected Error” screen, and occasionally it will say my server is offline and won’t connect.

My server (Desktop Computer) has 16gb ram, an i7-2600k Sandy Bridge, and a Samsung Evo SSD, and my media is on Western Digital Caviar Black HDDs. Also, using wired connection for the server, speed test consistently shows ping @ <10ms, 500mb/s+ down, and 300mb/s+ up.

Xbox is on wireless, speed test shows <25ms, 35mb/s+ down and up.

Internet speed numbers are all essentially the slowest I see at any given time. And CPU & RAM use is 50% max, typically 10-20%.

Anyone having a similar issue(s), or had them in the past and fixed them? I’ve read a lot of posts that were less recent and none seemed to have any conclusive solution. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Did you try optimizing your library ?

Yeah, also uninstalled, reinstalled, tried putting the app on both the internal and external drives… No luck. I’m stumped.

I’m having the same issue with the Xbox One and audio losing sync with the video. It works fine on all other devices. This happens on wireless and wired using a Gigabit network. Did you ever find a fix for it?
