Xbox one updated to 2.1.1.70 today -- more issues

Any update on this? The buffering issue makes the Xbox App pretty much unusable.

I’ve been experiencing the buffering as well on the Xbox one. That’s all it does. Had to resort to using the older samsung app which chooses to jot play certain shows at all… different issue all together. Roku ultra plays just fine. Dvr and live streaming still work great on roku as well. Nothing has changed on my network. Just frustrated with the inability to use plex on the Xbox one. Can we roll back to a previous version? We cut the cord over a year ago and use plex hulu and netflix only. Plex is the most heavily used. HELP!

I’m also getting constant buffering, the only thing that had changed in my setup is the new version of Plex.

Unfortunately, I’m also on the buffering train- I’d be happy to submit logs if necessary/helpful to resolve. It’s very frustrating that it seems to actually not be a server side buffer issue at all (PlexPy confirms significant buffer available) and regardless of how long I leave it, once it tells me it’s buffering it won’t restart unless I stop and press play again. The buffering seems to be random in when it starts too, and occurs on anything, including direct play videos.

Definitely post logs. The more the devs have, the better. I posted mine as well, but haven’t heard anything back regarding status. They might be having a tough time troubleshooting and logs from others would hopefully help.

Seconded

I made a new post before seeing this one. I can’t play a movie from beginning to end without running into the “Buffering” wall unless I drastically reduce the streaming quality (the lowest 720p option doesn’t get stuck on buffering but looks awful).

Log file attached for reference, hope it helps. I’ve trimmed it to the time period of the issue.

For some reason, even if i tick log to server on my xbox, it doesn’t and seems to turn off the option next time i start the app.

It’s been more than a month and the pause button on IR remotes still don’t work. Any ETA on a fix?

A fix for the pause button/command issue is coming in the next update. We’re still investigating the buffering issue some of you are experiencing, it’s devlishy hard to debug. But thank you for your logs, they’re very helpful.

I’m loosing my mind with this.
